    Otro video

    Siroco también preparó un video del campeonato, con unas excelentes tomas aéreas con una cámara en la mano, y nos lleva en un recorrido durante una hermosa prueba hacia Obando y de regreso al aeropuerto de Roldanillo.


    El video del campeonato de 2007 no lo pude montar finalmente porque excedía de 10 minutos.

    Video del Campeonato Roldanillo 2009

    Cortesía de Juan Arango, quien editó algunas de sus fotografías, y se encargó de publicar el video en Youtube, así como de Memo Mono, que realizó varias de las tomas aéreas que se observan en el video, montando una pequeña cámara (hero pro) en su cometa.

    Adicionalmente, me llegó esta “versión” recortada y re-editada del video que hicimos Ani Velásquez y yo, sobre el campeonato nacional de ala delta del 2007. El supuesto nuevo autor se hace llamar Luiiz, y ni siquiera se tomó la molestia de anotar que los créditos por las imágenes, y la pre-edición eran de Ani Velasquez y Daniel Velez.

    Me tomé la molestia de tratar de montar el video original en Youtube, pero todavía no estoy muy seguro de su disponibilidad, pues el video tenía algo más de 11 minutos y creo que existe un límite de 10 minutos para videos, si no tengo una suscripción especial con Youtube.

    Adicionalmente, es muy probable que por “violación” de derechos de autor, al utilizar como banda sonora algunas canciones muy populares, el video sufra una restricción que impida su difusión.

    Ya estaré adjuntando el link, en caso de que la publicación del video haya prosperado.

    Roldanillo 2009 – Puntaje final - Rectificados.

    Ante todo, me disculpo con Héctor Corrales por haberlo “castigado” en la quinta prueba con 15 minutos, pues estuve consultando con los diseñadores del programa por la inconsistencia en la prueba, y al parecer el programa de puntuación no es muy preciso cuando grafica la prueba, pero sí lo es cuando calcula los tiempos, por lo que debía haber considerado el tiempo que arrojaba el programa, en lugar del tiempo que se veía en el dibujo.  Héctor sí había tomado el último start, con todos los pilotos, con una salida casi perfecta de 2 segundos!. Felicitaciones.

    De esta forma, su puntaje del quinto día mejora notablemente, lo que le basta para que con su victoria del último día, despoje a Andrés Duque del Cuarto puesto de la general.

    Roldanillo 2009 - Ultima prueba

     
    Antes que nada, me disculpo por no haber escrito ninguna historia sobre los vuelos de Roldanillo 2009, y limitar mis entradas del blog a simplemente transcribir los puntajes.
    Esta semana estaré tratando de reconstruir los vuelos, y en especial la quinta prueba, que fue bastante interesante.
     
    Por ahora, describo el último día en un par de líneas.
     
    El clima nos opacó el último día del campeonato.  En la mañana parecía abrirse paso algo de sol en el valle, y se veían ya algunos cúmulos pequeños formándose. Decidimos una prueba de 51 km que ofrecía un buen grado de dificultad al final, pero que iniciaba en la mejor zona de vuelo para facilitar el recorrido. Consistía en volar hacia el aeropuerto de Roldanillo, luego hacia Zarzal, y volviendo al aeropuerto, luego hacia la Victoria y finalmente aterrizando en el aeropuerto, es decir, pasando 3 veces por el aeropuerto de Roldanillo.
     
    Sin embargo, 20 minutos antes del primer start, empezó a lloviznar, y el valle se sombreó por completo por nubes de altura y nubes medias, que no prometían despejarse.  Despego temprano con la idea de que era mejor esperar cualquier cosa afuera que en tierra. Terminé rápidamente perdiendo altura y luchando por mantenerme al menos en vuelo, pero 35 minutos más tarde estaba aterrizado en la seca.
     
    Varios pilotos me acompañaron más tarde, pero los más aventados optaron por realizar un planeo al menos hasta el aeropuerto, donde básicamente terminó el vuelo del resto de los pilotos, menos el de Héctor Corrales, quien con 100 metros sobre el despegue, logró escaparse tres o cuatro kilómetros más allá del aeropuerto.
